Latin: colour of jasper.

Previous records: 17–30 mm; Kuzikus specimens (n=8): 19–29 mm.

January to February and April to December.

Angola, Botswana, Chad, Democratic Republic of Congo, Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Kenya, Malawi, Mauritania, Morocco, Mozambique, Namibia, Niger, Republic of South Africa, Senegal, Somalia, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda and Zimbabwe.
NOTE
Only two species are known in the genus Titoceres Thomson, 1868 , T. jaspideus occupying the most part of Africa while T. arabicus (Breuning, 1962) is recorded from the Arabian Peninsula.
