ETYMOLOGY
Latin: with midribs (apparent ribs on elytra).
SIZE
Previous records: 13–15 mm. Kuzikus specimen (n=1): 18.5 mm.
PERIOD OF ADULT ACTIVITY.
January; in Kuzikus: end of September – beginning of October.

Parhecyra costata represents the single species composing the genus Parhecyra Breuning, 1942 . Our single collecting data extends and completes the flight period of the species.
