Female. Unknown.
Type material. Holotype male, GUANGDONG: Nanling National Natural Reserve, Xiaohuangshan , 9.V.2004, Y. Xu ( CAU, Beijing).
Etymology. The specific epithet derives from the type locality Xiaohuangshan ( Guangdong, Nanling).
Comments. This new species is similar to Chrysotimus setosus Yang and Saigusa from Shaanxi, but may be separated from the latter by fore and mid tarsomere 1 each with row of 5–6 v, and epandrium basally with long and broad process. In C. setosus , the fore and mid tarsomere 1 each has no distinct v, and the epandrium has short apical process ( Yang and Saigusa, 2005).
Distribution. Guangdong.
