Remarks.

This species was first recorded from Saudi Arabia by Aloufi et al. (2023) around the Dahran area. The Tessellated Skink is known to occur in Yemen, Oman, and the United Arab Emirates (Carranza et al. 2021). It prefers humid areas among the farmlands in the Eastern Province. This species was reported from Masirah Island, Oman (Carranza et al. 2021).
