Six females of this species were collected from R. coriaria and Elaeagnus angustifolia L. ( Elaeagnaceae ) at Al-Hekr in August 2023. This is the first record of this species from Syria.
It was described from Italy ( Castagnoli 1984) and also recorded from Sweden ( Momen and Lundqvist 1996) and Iran ( Sadeghi et al. 2012).
