Chiriqui: Loc. 17, 2450 m, 30890; 21, 1500–1570 m, 34398/ A , 34453/ C; 26, 34578 ( EGR) , conf. Pócs, 34594/B; 32, 34701; 33, 34710, all epiphyllous.

A recently described species ( Pócs & Bernecker 2013), known from Venezuela (type), Bolivia, Costa Rica, and Panama ( Veraguas and Chiriqui, paratype collections from localities 11 ( 30805, 30828), 18 ( 30937, 30940), and 20 ( 30984)), from altitudes between 720–2300 m. The species seems to be rather common in Chiriqui province. The specimen 30890 represents a new altitudinal record .
