Le genre comprend près d’une quarantaine de taxa ( Bezděk, 2016d) d’Asie centrale. Deux espèces ont été signalées d’Iran: Chioneosoma (Aleucolomus) porosum (Fischer de Waldheim, 1823) et Chioneosoma (Aleucolomus) vulpinum (Gyllenhal, 1817) .
