Diagnosis. In the contrasting discal spot on the fore wing, the species is most close to S. phaga ( Swinhoe, 1894) and S. htetae Yakovlev & Zolotuhin sp. nov. From which it differs in a dimmer color and in the blunt apex of the harpe on the saccular edge of the valve.

Distribution. Nepal, India ( Uttarakhand).
