Male genitalia ( Fig. 19): Tergum IX lobes elongate; external margin convex. Each lobe with 5 simple setae; distance between lobes equal to basal width; discrete pointed aspect at apex. Gonocoxite oblong; subapical lobe with 5 equivalent setae always larger than the columnar process; presence of 1 short seta at base of subapical lobe. Columnar process with 2 evident, strong setae ( a and b), seta a inserted basal to seta b; both robust, filiform, apically pointed. Four or 5 setae inserted in base of columnar process; 2 more robust than the others. Gonostylus elongate, curved at apex; dorsal surface concave; ventral surface convex; broad, leaf-like gonostylar claw with pointed apex. Aedeagus with dorsolateral process; ventral process hook-like; dorsolateral and dorsal processes pointed. Aedeagal sclerite curved, pointed, hook-like. Tergum X symmetrical, connected to paraproct. Paraproct elongate with 7 simple, curved, pointed blades.

Distribution: Bolivia, Brazil, Costa Rica, Ecuador, French Guiana, Granada, Guyana, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago, and Venezuela.
