Male genitalia ( Fig. 11): Tergum IX lobes developed, semicircular external outline; length 2x basal width; internal margin slightly semicircular; apex with 3 simple, short, straight setae, distributed on external margin at apical and median levels; inter-lobe distance 4x basal width. Gonocoxite oblong; similar to that of Cx. neglectus ; subapical lobe with group of simple setae and 1 medium-sized leaf-like seta. Columnar process short, robust; apex with 2 curved apically, inserted at same level; seta b slightly shorter than seta a; mesoventral surface with 2 thin, simple setae. Gonostylus reduced, broad, curved, claw-like; basal portion more strongly developed than apical portion; broad, leaf-like gonostylar claw with pointed apex. Aedeagal sclerite hook-like; prominent, internal, crest-like, less-sclerotized process. Tergum X sinuous in outline; basal plate narrow; paraproct elongate; crown with 5 curved, pointed blades.
Distribution: Specimens collected in São Paulo city and Magé District, Rio de Janeiro State, Brazil. Material examined: 5♂ G. SP-J/APA4; SP-CANT21; SP-MTS213; RJ-STA4; FSP-SP47-14.
