Male genitalia ( Fig. 15): Tergum IX lobes protruding; basal width similar to distance between lobes; apex with 3–8 simple setae. Gonocoxite oblong; subapical lobe less developed than those of Cx. pleuristriatus , Cx. albipes and Cx. lanei ; 5 simple, straight setae, 2 of which more strongly developed; 1 short seta in basal area of subapical lobe. Columnar process robust, glabrous; 2 straight, well developed setae at apex ( a and b), both inserted at same level; seta b longer than seta a. Ventromesal surface with 3 or 4 fine, straight setae. Gonostylus curved, narrow; ventral and dorsal surfaces neither convex nor concave; broad, leaf-like gonostylar claw with pointed apex. Aedeagus with dorsolateral process; ventral process hook-like; dorsolateral and dorsal processes pointed. Aedeagal sclerite hook-like; ventral and dorsal surfaces straight. Tergum X symmetrical, resembling an ellipse, connected to paraproct. Paraproct robust; basal portion dilated; crown with 6–8 curved, pointed blades.
