Male genitalia ( Fig. 14): Tergum IX lobes elongate; external margin convex. Each lobe with 4 simple setae; distance between lobes equal to basal width; discrete pointed apex; external margin slightly rounded. Gonocoxite very similar to that of Cx. pleuristriatus . Subapical lobe with 5 equivalent setae always longer than columnar process; 1 short seta at base of subapical lobe. Columnar process with 2 evident, strong setae ( a and b), seta a inserted basal to seta b. Three to 5 setae inserted on base of columnar process; 2 more robust than the others. Gonostylus elongate, narrow, curved at apex; ventral and dorsal surfaces straight; broad, leaf-like gonostylar claw with pointed apex. Aedeagus with dorsolateral process; ventral process hook-like; dorsolateral and dorsal processes pointed. Aedeagal sclerite curved, pointed, hook-like; dorsal surface convex; ventral surface concave. Tergum X symmetrical, connected to paraproct. Paraproct with 7 simple, curved, pointed blades.
