Male genitalia ( Fig. 13): Tergum IX lobes developed; similar to those of Cx. neglectus sp. 2 and Cx. fuscatus ; length 3x basal width; inter-lobe surface slightly concave; distance between lobes 3x basal width; apex slightly curved internally; 4 or 5 simple, short, straight setae distributed between apical, median and basal levels. Gonocoxite oblong; subapical lobe with group of setae, 1 leaf-like, wider than those of Cx. neglectus sp. 1 and Cx. neglectus sp. 2. Columnar process medium-sized, robust; 2 apically curved setae ( a and b), inserted at same level; seta a smaller than seta b. Gonostylus short, robust with sinuous outline. Aedeagus with long, strong, ventral process; dorsal process medium-sized; dorsolateral process narrow, pointed. Aedeagal sclerite hook-like; apical process pointed; ventral process crest-like; 2–4 spicules in this process. Tergum X with ventral process; paraproct very broad at basal level; crown with 6 curved, pointed blades.
Distribution: Specimens collected in Magé District, Rio de Janeiro State, Brazil.
