Distribution. Northern and Central Europe; first record for Ukraine.
Taxonomical remark. The Ukrainian specimens are smaller than the type material ( 1.8–2.2 mm vs. 2.5 mm in the holotype), but has the characteristic brown to black face and the typical shape of its ovipositor sheath.
