Note: Marinoni et al. 2003: 24 recorded the location of the holotype and 17 paratypes as “ Ecuador. Prt. Orllna: Río Tiputini (0°38.2ʹS, 76°8.9ʹW).” Wayne N. Mathis (USNM), one of the collectors of the holotype and paratypes, wrote (in litt. 17 December 2020 to WLM) that “’Prt. Orllna’ refers to Puerto Francisco de Orellana, the capital of Orellana.” The other information on the label—Río Tiputini, latitude 0°38.2ʹ S, longitude 76°8.9ʹ W —places the type locality securely in the province of Orellana.
