Genus PHERBELLIA Robineau-Desvoidy, 1830 View in CoL

Ninety-six species worldwide, of which at least nine occur in the Americas south of the United States. Pherbellia in the Neotropical Region needs revision. Specimens of three undescribed species near P. chiloensis (Malloch) are in CUIC and USNM, and at least four undescribed species from Argentina and Chile are in CUIC, MZUSP, NHMUK, and USNM.
