Genus DITAENIELLA Sack, 1939
Four species worldwide, two primarily Nearctic species, one of which extends south into Costa Rica and one in South America only. Ditaeniella in the Neotropical Region needs revision. At least two undescribed Neotropical species are among the many specimens from Chile and Argentina in CNC, CUIC, and USNM.
