Description. Body. Length 4.55-5.05 mm; body width 2.88-3.06 mm.

Hea cl. Pale brown lo brown, posterior parl somewhat darker than the anterior: dorsal surface of paraclypei striated and punctured with clear visible punctures, clypeus and vertex impunctate, the former slightly striated, as long as or slightly shorter lhan paraclypei, almost parallel-sided; gular plate almost impunctate; each paraclypcus with a submarginal row of 5 -8 hairlike setae ( Fig. 2); eyes small, reddish brown, ocular index 4.90-5.IO; ocelli very small, interocellar index 5.20-6.25, ocellar index 9.00-11.90; antennae yellowish brown or pale brown, length of antenna! segments (in mm): 0.24-0.31: 0.25-0.30: 0.28-0.3]: 0.33 -0.35: 0.33-0.36; rostrum pal.e brown or yellowish brown, reaching anterior margin of middle coxae.

Pr o th orax. Pronotum castaneous, densely punctured with large dark punctures; calla) areas dark castaneous, impunctate, slightly elevated; lateral margins of pronotum with 26-33 submarginal setigerous punctures bearing long hair-like setae on either side ( Fig. 1). Anterior convexity of propleuron impunctate, polished; depression and posterior convexity polished, impunctate or with a few hardly visible punctures.

Mesothorax. Scurellum dark castaneous, its disc almost evenly punctured wid1 dark punctures larger than those on pronotum; anterolateral angles and extreme apex impunctuate. Mesopleural evaporatorium triangular, large ( Fig. 3); anterior area of mesopleuron impunctate.

Met ath o r ax. Corium castaneous, clavus usually more yellowish than meso- and exocorium; membrane mjlky brown with irregular dark castaneous patches; clavus with three almost complete rows of punctures; rnesocorium with two rows of punctures paralleling clavo-coria.l suture, its remaining surface spaJSely evenly punctured; exocorium broad, basally strongly reflected downward ( Fig. 1), its surface with punctures only slighlly larger than those on mesocorial disc; costal margin with 13-21 setigerous punctures bearing long hair-like setae; membranal suture bisinuated, membrane broader than abdomen, surpassing its tip. Lateral and posterior areas of metapleural evaporatorium impunctate.

Le gs. From yellowish brown to pale brown, tibial spines reddish brown or castaneous.

Abdomen. Sterna from ochreous to brown, alutaceous, more or less polished, submargins of segments with a row of long protruding brown hair-like setae on either side; all pregenital segments impunctate, except for setigerous punctures. Ventral surface of male pygophore punctured laterally; paramere as in Fig. 4, pygophore opening as in Pig. 5.

Et ymo Io gy. The name is given in connection with the type-locality of the species.
