Current name: Genista germanica L. View in CoL ( Fabaceae : Faboideae ).

Note: Gibbs (in Notes Roy. Bot. Gard. Edinburgh 27: 70. 1966) simultaneously designated both 892.21 (LINN) and van Royen material (L) as holotypes - an ineffective choice.
