Cautires dubius ( Waterhouse, 1879) , comb. n.
Lycus dubius Waterhouse, 1879: 35 .
Type material. Ƥ holotype. [ Malaysia] Borneo (without further data) ( BMNH).
Remark. Similarly with C. aridus , this species has developed, although weak, frontal ridges in the pronotum and only lateral ridges are absent. The pronotum does not resemble neither of the species groups proposed to replace former concept of Bulenides . The uncertainty of the placement in Bulenides was expressed already by Waterhouse (1879) in the specific epithet.
