Type locality

Nosy Be [ Madagascar].

Current status

Valid species.

Remarks

In the original description, Borelli (1932) states that these type specimens were collected by O’Svvaldu. Comparing this name with the information from the specimen labels we can safely assume that the ZMH received these specimens through a trading company named “Wm. O’Swald & Co.” instead.
