Diagnosis

Adult ( Figures 4A View Figure 4 , 7F View Figure 7 ). Wingspan 10.0–11.5 mm. This species is characterized by the forewing having dark silvery-grey markings with purplish-blue metallic lustre; the eighth tergite with posterior margin rounded, anterior margin concave in a semicircle ( Figure 10D View Figure 10 ), the uncus narrow mesially (narrower than one-fifth width at base), broadly expanding in distal third, posterior margin slightly convex laterally, the valva slender and club-shaped from one-quarter length to three-quarters length (about onethird width at base), distal quarter dilated ovally in the male genitalia ( Figure 11E View Figure 11 ); the anterior apophyses short, and the corpus bursae long oval in the female genitalia ( Omelko 1999: Plate 106, figs 1,2).
