General distribution. Endemic to Hispaniola.
Distribution in the DR. Known only from one locality in the Cordillera Central ( Fig 2. B View FIGURE 2 ).
Habitat. The species flies in the lush, cool, high-rainfall forests at high elevations in the Cordillera Central ( Fig 9. G View FIGURE 9 ).
Host plants. Its larval and host plant stages are unknown, although it also probably feeds on Rubiaceae .
