General distribution. Mexico to Argentina including the Dominican Republic.

Distribution in the DR. Widespread throughout the country.

Habitat. An open-habitat Sphingidae , common in wooded areas at all elevations.

Host plants. Rubiaceae , especially in the genus Psychotria .
