General distribution. Endemic to Hispaniola.

Distribution in the DR. Cordillera Septentrional and Cordillera Central. 600–1400 m asl. ( Fig 1. C View FIGURE 1 ).

Habitat. A species of mid-elevation, generally cool and moist woodlands ( Fig 9. E View FIGURE 9 ).

Host plants. Larval stages and host plants unknown.

Material examined.

Hodecek: Valle Nuevo National Park: 18°53'00"N 70°33'56.5"W, 660 m, 7/2021, 1 ♂, leg. J. Hodecek.
