General distribution. Endemic to Hispaniola.

Distribution in the DR. Known only from the type series, two males collected in a single locality in the Cordillera Central ( Fig 1. F View FIGURE 1 ).

Habitat. The species flies in the lush, cool, high-rainfall forests at high elevations in the Cordillera Central ( Fig 9. G View FIGURE 9 ).

Host plants. Larval stages and host plants unknown.
