First faunistic record for Croatia: Puskás et al. 2018

Distribution in Croatia: So far known from two localities—Pristanište, Mljet Isl. ( 15.X.2001, leg. Gy. Rozner, in Puskás et al. 2018) and Šibenik (Dalmatia) (Skejo VIII.–X.2016). Probably more widespread along the Dalmatian coast, but easily misidentified as O. pellucens .

Distribution in Europe: Found on the Canary Islands and in the Mediterranean from the Iberian Peninsula to Cyprus. Distribution still insufficiently known ( Hochkirch et al. 2016).
