Comments.—During a study of the type specimens of Ulidiidae in the Zoologisches Museum der Humboldt Universität, Berlin over the previous decade, VAK observed that the holotype of Vespomima nigrotaenia Enderlein (1927) is not a ulidiid and belongs to what at the time was recognized as the genus Toxotrypana , now considered a synonym of Anastrepha . Our detailed morphological study of this specimen confirms that Vespomima is thus also a synonym of Anastrepha .
