5. Arctiinae View in CoL

The Arctiinae View in CoL of India was documented by Singh et al. (2021), encompassing data on 673 species across 175 genera. In the intervening years, the genera Agrisius Walker View in CoL (comprising 5 species) and Baroa Moore View in CoL (comprising 2 species) have been reassigned to the Nolidae View in CoL , while an additional 13 species have been synonymized. Conversely, 84 new species have been incorporated into the Indian Arctiinae View in CoL fauna.The genus Aemene Walker View in CoL has been synonymized with Siccia Walker View in CoL , and a new replacement name, Striatochrista Volynkin & Huang View in CoL , has been established for Striatella Volynkin & Huang, 2019 View in CoL . Furthermore, four new genera have been described within the Arctiinae View in CoL . Consequently, the current tally of Arctiinae View in CoL in India stands at 737 species and nine subspecies distributed among 176 genera. The taxonomic revisions published subsequently are detailed in Table 2, while the new additions to the work of Singh et al. (2021) are listed in the catalogue section.
