Description of Paenibacillus agaridevorans View in CoL 16S3E7
Cells are Gram-staining negative and rod-shaped without flagella. Colonies are white, Round with entire margins after 2 days of incubation on R2 A at 30℃. Positive for esculin hydrolysis and β -galactosidase activity. Negative for nitrate reduction, indole production, glucose fermentation, arginine dihydrolase, urease and gelatinase activities. Utilizes D-mannitol, N- acetyl-glucosamine, D-maltose, adipic acid, and trisodium citrate. Does not utilize D-glucose, L-arabinose, D-mannose, potassium gluconate, capric acid, malic acid, and phenylacetic acid. Strain 16S3E7 (NIBRBAC000510541) was isolated from soil of Yeoju, Gyeonggi-do, Korea ( 37°17 ʹ 23.51 ʺ N 127° 39 ʹ 5.92 ʺ E) GoogleMaps .
