Description of Pseudoneobacillus rhizosphaerae View in CoL SBCC-1576

Cells are Gram-staining positive and rod-shaped with flagella. Colonies are cream, circular, flat, smooth, and glistening after 5 days of incubation on MA at 25℃. Positive for nitrate reduction. Negative indole production, glucose fermentation, arginine dihydrolase, urease activity, esculin hydrolysis, gelatinase, and β -galactosidase activities. Does not utilize D-glucose, L-arabinose, D-mannose, D-mannitol, N- acetyl-glucosamine, D-maltose, potassium gluconate, capric acid, adipic acid, malic acid, trisodium citrate, and phenylacetic acid. Strain SBCC-1576 ( NI- BRBAC000510517 ) was isolated from tidal flat of Taean Chungchungnam-do , Korea ( 36°50 ʹ 29 ʺ N 126°11 ʹ 24 ʺ E) GoogleMaps .
