Remarks: Ten provinces can be added here to the range of H. euryscapus . The species occurs in all geographical regions, from sea level to 2200 m altitude. The flight period extends from the beginning of May to August with a peak in July. It is moderately recorded in Turkey (16 provinces).

Distribution: Western Palaearctic. In Turkey: Balıkesir, Denizli, Konya, İstanbul, Tekirdağ ( WARNCKE 1972); Erzurum ( ÖZBEK 1977); Ardahan, Aksaray, Artvin, Çorum, Hakkâri, Kayseri, Muğla, Nevşehir, Niğde, Şanlıurfa.
