Notes

(v, au; ph ML 83539091 ) This bird is commonly observed in the high areas of northern Tolima at elevations above 1800 m and up to 3700 m a. s. l. It has been observed in the Municipalities of Anzoátegui, Santa Isabel, Líbano, Herveo and Murillo where it is commonly seen vocalising on fences in deforested areas, such as pastures and open areas. It was registered for the first time in the Department by Quevedo and Lopéz (2002).
