Type locality. Argentina, Buenos Aires Province, Atalaya (35º00ʹ53ʹ S, 57º32ʹ3.3ʹ W). Holotype: MLP 5420 (whole–mounted specimen). Paratypes: one specimen MLP 5421 ( in toto mounted), MLP 5340 and MLP 5341 ( 4 specimens sagittally cut).
