Current name: Pycnanthemum incanum (L.) Michx. View in CoL ( Lamiaceae ).

Note: Although Epling (in J. Bot. 67: 9. 1929) and Grant & Epling (in Univ. Calif. Publ. Bot. 20: 206. 1943) indicated Herb. Linn. No. 724.4 ( LINN) as a standard specimen, this is not equivalent to a type statement (see Jarvis & al. in Taxon 50: 508. 2001).
