Description. Male. Body length 1.5–1.6 mm, wing length 1.5 mm. Female. Body length 1.4–1.7 mm, wing length 1.4–1.5 mm. Other morphological characters as in Cook 1956.
Material Examined. 2♂ 4♀, China, Beijing, Xiaolongmen National Forest Park [ 小ẑm国ṽŭūȓ园] [39°97’ N, 115°43’ E, 1330m], 2023. VI . 13, Chen Lin ( CAU) .
Distribution. China ( Beijing); Belgium, Czech Republic, England, Finland, France, Germany, Norway, Poland, Russia, Slovakia, Sweden, Switzerland.
Remarks. This is a common species that can be found in Europe and Russian Far East (Cook 1956, 1972; Haenni 2013; Haenni et al. 2023; Krivosheina 1999). It is easily distinguished from other species of this genus by the paired row of small setae present on the inner margin of male sternite 7 and trangular shaped male terminalia. The specimens we examined were collected by sweep net in Beijing, which is also located in the Palaearctic Region.
