Type data. Ex Cyrtodactylus louisiadensis (syn. Gymnodactylus louisiadensis ), Dutch New Guinea ( Indonesia, West Papua Province), Sansapor.
Hosts. SQUAMATA : Christinus marmoratus , Cyrtodactylus louisiadensis , Heteronotia binoei .
Distribution. Australia (?), Indonesia.
Remarks. Domrow & Lester (1985) referred to this species as a synonym of Neotrombicula greenlyi Domrow, 1984 for an unclear reason. They identified it with Trombicula gymnodactyla McCulloch, 1946 ( nomen nudum), but the latter was based on other material and was included in the genus Trombicula , while Womersley and Kohls described their species in the genus Eutrombicula .
