( Fig. 8 View FIGURE 8 )

Material. Holotype — PIN, No. 5890/14, right elytron . Paratype — PIN, No. 5890/4, part and counterpart of left elytron .

Locality and horizon. Alisa locality, Nidym Formation, Lower Triassic.

Diagnosis. Asymmetrical base with flat flange going obliquely towards epipleural margin; interlocking longitudinal protrusion (“schiza”) makes 1/3 of elytral length or slightly less.

Description. At least three times as long as wide, basal 2/3 of the length—parallel sided, then gradually narrowing towards asymmetrical, pointed apex; finely carinated. Interlocking device located at the midlength level, closer to the epipleural margin, distanced from the elytral edge for 1/3 of maximum elytral width.

Measurements (in mm). Holotype’s elytral length 8.5, width 2.8; paratype`s PIN, No. 5890/4 length 7.2, width 2.4

Etymology. After Latin “ frumentum ” meaning “seed” or “grain”, due to elytron`s shape.

Comparison. Differs from all congeners in having an assymetrical base with flat flange going obliquely towards epipleural margin and rather long interlocking longitudinal protrusion.
