Notes.
Scytalidium tuberculatum was introduced by Geng et al. (2016). In this study, the ex-type strain (H 1195) of S. tuberculatum nested in the genus Neocosmospora (Fig. 1 View Figure 1 ). However, the name Neocosmospora tuberculata is already occupied ( Lee et al. 2025). Therefore, we transferred S. tuberculatum to the genus Neocosmospora as Neocosmospora xizangensis .
