Notes
On pictures of lower quality, it could be confused with similarly-coloured species, for example, Hoplismenus terrificus or Thyrateles camelinus . Females of I. cessator can be recognised by their rather conical habitus (similar to H. terrificus ), some orange-red flagellomeres (not white) and especially the two small white spots at the apical segments of the metasoma.
