Distribution. Japan ( Hokkaido, Honshu, Shikoku, Kyushu).

Host information. This species is an ectoparasitoid of Dryocosmus kuriphilus Yasumatsu ( Hymenoptera : Cynipidae ) on Castanea crenata Siebold et Zucc. (Fagaceae) (gall photo: fig. 26d, C–106 of Yukawa & Masuda 1996), and Andricus sp. ( Hymenoptera : Cynipidae ) on Quercus sp. ( Fagaceae ) ( Yasumatsu & Kamijo 1979).
