Idiocerus dilatatus Fang, 1994: 345 View in CoL .
Diagnosis. Crown ochraceous, with a pair of black spots on either side of midline and a square marking near eyes ( Fig. 2C View FIGURE 2 ). Face yellowish; frontoclypeus with a pair of brownish longitudinal stripes on either side of midline ( Fig. 2D View FIGURE 2 ). Pronotum brown, with several black and yellow markings on anterior margin; medially with a hoary longitudinal rectangular marking. Style with two short processes near apex ( Fig. 8F View FIGURE 8 ). Aedeagus with a pair of short subapical processes; dorsal apodeme well developed in lateral and ventral view ( Figs 8D–E View FIGURE 8 ).
Material examined. 4♂♂ 5♀♀, China, Xizang Autonomous Region, Lhasa City , 2017.vii.24, coll. Lin Zhou ( NWAFU) .
Distribution. China ( Heilongjiang, Liaoning, Shanxi, Shaanxi, Gansu, Xizang).
Remarks. Idiocerus dilatatus and Metidiocerus impressifrons have similar coloration, but the former differs from the latter in having a narrow hoary stripe on the pronotum, and the inner margin of lorum and gena without dark brown longitudinal stripes but the stripes are much paler when present.
