Diagnosis

Body generally yellow brown to dark brown, head with shallow to deep, conspicuous piliferous punctures; occipital margin sharp to round; mandible either bi or tridentate; funicle segments transverse to clearly longer than broad; clava three segmented, at least as long as funicle, strongly apically obliquely truncate, the truncate part clearly longer than remaining ventral surface of clava; forewing marginal vein either absent or punctiform, the postmarginal and stigmal veins emitted from apex of submarginal with postmarginal vein not touching wing margin, apices of stigma and postmarginal veins connected by a distinct, hairless streak; hypopygium more or less reaching gaster apex.

Distribution. Hong Kong, Philippines, Brunei, New Britain ( Noyes and Hayat 1984); Senegal ( Noyes and Prinsloo 1998); India (New record).
