Current status: Anthophora ( Petalosternon) hanseni Morawitz, 1883 View in CoL .

Remark: Based on a careful comparison with the holotype of A. hanseni Morawitz, 1883 (from ZISP), P. Rasmont considered this taxon as senior synonym and labeled A. codentata Wu as Anthophora ( Petalosternon) hanseni Morawitz. The shape of head and hind legs is totally identical, along with other characters, in both sexes. We formally synonymize A. codentata as a result. Brooks (1988) assigned A. hanseni to subg. Petalosternon .
