Current status: Anthophora (Petalosternon) hanseni Morawitz, 1883 View in CoL .

Remark: Based on a careful comparison with the holotype of A. hanseni Morawitz, 1883 (from ZISP), P. Rasmont considered this taxon as senior synonym and labeled A. codentata Wu as Anthophora (Petalosternon) hanseni Morawitz. The shape of head and hind legs is totally identical, along with other characters, in both sexes. We formally synonymize A. codentata as a result. Brooks (1988) assigned A. hanseni to subg. Petalosternon .
