Current status: Anthophora (Clisodon) furcata ssp. montislinguarum Schulz, 1906 .

Remark: Brooks (1988: 489) firstly treated the taxon as Anthophora (Clisodon) xinjiangensis (Wu, 1985) , and Wu (2000) added the holotype identification label as Anthophora (Clisodon) xinjiangensis Wu , the type of Anthophora (Clisodon) furcata ssp. montislinguarum Schulz, 1906 has been revised by PR in NHMB. This well coloured furcata subspecies seems to occur in a large area from Caucasus to the west, Siberia to the north and China to the east. So Anthophora (Clisodon) xinjiangensis (Wu, 1985) is newly synonymized with Anthophora (Clisodon) furcata ssp. montislinguarum Schulz, 1906 .

Distribution: Caucasus to the west, Siberia to the north and China to the east.
