Current status: Habrophorula nigripes Wu, 1991 View in CoL .

Remark: The recently described Habrophorula belladeceptrix Tran, Engel & Nguyen, 2024 is clearly very near from H. nigripes Wu. Tran et al. (2024) underline some colour pattern differences but they can fall into intraspecific variations. They also underline morphological differences in genitalia and internal sternites. These differences appear quite subtle and would deserve further study to assess their variation.
