Diagnosis. Males differ from those of C. severum in the highly reduced embolus tip ( Fig. 13d View FIGURE 13 ) and females in the relatively smaller, widely spaced CO.

Supplementary description. Male. Palp with socketed sessile paracymbial spine; tibia cylindrical with diagonal distal edge, ventrally. Femora III, IV without distal constriction ( Fig. 14a View FIGURE 14 ); two pairs of long spines on ventral tibiae I and II, two similar pairs on metatarsi I, II; distinct but light scopula for metatarsi and tarsi I, II. Carapace with fine setose pustules. Dorsal scute for full length, anterior edge sloping back, dorsal scute wraps around abdomen to ventral edge and slopes gradually to anterior edge; fused to pedicel and laterally fused to genital scute and covering book lungs; distinct ventral scute ( Fig. 13e View FIGURE 13 ). Carapace profile long and flat with steep anterior and posterior edges; with V-shaped depression anterior to fovea. Pedicel with short collar. Tracheal scute broad, curved at edges.
