Diagnosis: Male palp without tibial apophysis, paracymbial spine strong; embolus simple spiralled, or straight tubular. Females with pair of CO leading to spermathecal head or variable size; males with or without ventral scute. Carapace black with fringe on submarginal white hairs; males with large dorsal scute and ventral scute (but absent in rare males of N. albopunctatus ); abdomen dorsally black with paired patches of white feathery hairs (most species).

Species included: Supunna albopunctata ( Hogg, 1896) , N. pseudomaculatus sp. nov., and N. jonraveni sp. nov.
