Diagnosis. A small species in which males differ from those of O. zborowskii sp. nov. and O. colloffi sp. nov. in the simpler form of the palpal embolus ( Fig. 97a, b View FIGURE 97 ). Female unknown.

Etymology. Named for Margot Andersen, Director, Queensland Museum Foundation (2009–), for her much appreciated assistance in getting a high quality microscope and camera system which expedited the completion of this work.

Carapace 2.12 long, 1.60 wide. Abdomen 3.76 long, 1.22 wide. Total length, 5.9.

Colour: carapace fawn to yellow with two diffuse dark areas on lateral caput, eye region black; legs brownish yellow to orange; abdomen fawn with narrow black crenulated band around posterior edges; venter pallid. Chelicerae: small. 2R, 3P. Fang shield small with long thin bristles. Legs: of similar diameter and length. Feathery hairs on femora to metatarsi. RCH a pinhole. Spines: well developed but not strong. I: fe pv1p3d3r1; pa 1 apical bristle; ti p2v2.2.2; me v2.2. II: fe pv2p1d3r3; pa 1 apical bristle; ti p2r1v2.2.2; me p1v2.2. III: fe p3d3r3; pa 1 apical; ti p2d1r2v2.2.2; me p3r3v2.2.2. IV: fe p2d3r3; pa 1 apical; ti p2d1r2v1.2.2; me p3r3v2.2.3. Palp: fe p1d2; pa p1d2 (distal and basal); ti p2d1r1. Abdomen: dorsal scute weak, for one third; no ventral scute; tracheal spiracle marked by sclerotised raised edge. Palp: tibial apophysis absent but with three long thick spine-like bristles on single mound on retrodorsal distal corner; bulb long pyriform with retrodistal invagination; embolic region twopronged, each prong twisted and crossed over; sperm duct prolaterally sinuous with basal and subbasal loop.

Distribution and Habitat. Known only from rainforest at Mt Hartley, Cape Tribulation and Massey Creek, northeastern Queensland.
