Diagnosis. Carapace and abdomen iridescent ( Fig. 111a–c View FIGURE 111 ). Male embolus with thick spiralled embolus tapering near tip (e.g., Fig. 112a, b View FIGURE 112 ); epigyne with small copulatory fossae; spermathecae M-shaped (e.g., Fig. 112e View FIGURE 112 ). Femora III, IV with strong subdistal constriction.

Species included: Poecilipta kohouti sp. nov., P. metallica sp. nov. and P. ruthae sp. nov.
